What are quartz worktops made from?

They are manufactured from pulverised natural quartz which is blended in a special process with resins, polymers, colour pigments, and antimicrobial agents, to produce a beautiful and incredibly hard, non-porous surface without any cavities, pores, fissures, or cracks.
