Resistance To Stains

Hanex is an incredibly resistant material and this includes resistant to stains. That being said, spills should not be left on the surface and should be wiped up immediately, just as you should on any other surface. Liquids such as red wine, coffee, lemon juice and even curry, which are known for damaging certain other materials that are more porous, will not affect your Hanex worktop at all.

Resistance To Scratches & Cuts

Hanex worktops are incredibly tough, resistant and durable, and this applies to everyday cuts and scratches as well. However, good practice dictates that you should always use a chopping board when preparing food and never cut directly onto the surface.

Hanex has the added bonus of being repairable. Small cuts and scratches can simply be buffed and sanded out. This is because the colour runs all the way through the material rather than sitting on the surface, so scratches will not alter the appearance and, when they have been sanded out, you will soon forget they were ever there at all!
